• Installing heat pump and air conditioning systems, including:
  • Single split systems
  • Multi-split systems
  • VRV systems
• Servicing and maintaining HVAC equipment
• Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting issues
• Delivering high-quality work across residential and commercial projects
• Working closely with our customers and other team members 

• Proven experience and relevant qualifications in HVAC or an electrical trade
• Strong communication skills with both customers and team members
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently
• A full New Zealand driver’s licence
• Legal right to live and work in New Zealand

This is an opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands-on industry experience while completing your Level 4 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems qualification. You'll work alongside experienced technicians who will support your development and help you build a successful career in the HVAC&R industry.

As part of your apprenticeship, you'll learn how to:

• Install heat pump and air conditioning systems, including:
  • Single split systems
  • Multi-split systems
  • VRV systems
• Service and maintain HVAC equipment
• Diagnose faults and assist with troubleshooting
• Read plans and technical documentation
• Use industry tools and testing equipment safely and effectively
• Deliver high-quality work across residential and commercial projects
• Work closely with customers and team members
• Complete training, courses and assessments in order to gain an NZQA Level 4 qualification

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable, hardworking, and motivated to build a career
• Strong communication skills with customers and team members
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A full New Zealand driver's licence
• Legal right to live and work in New Zealand

No prior HVAC experience is required, but some experience within the trades industry is preferred. We are looking for the right person with the right attitude and a commitment to learning.
